| The following is a word for word copy of an email I received from one of my buyers. It is typical of the responses we have received from all of our buyers. They keep in touch with us with emails and photos telling us how the pup is doing, about its first haircut, etc. It is like we have a large extended family since we have sold pups. But then, after all, we are the pups’ grandparents! |

I've been meaning to e-mail you for sometime now to let you know how much we adore our darling little Travis! He is soo soo sweet! Our daughters give him lots of love and attention. They want him to sleep in their bed so badly but I don't want to start that just yet. He stays in our den/kitchen area most of the time. We just have a little baby gate that leans against the opening to the rest of the house. Surprisingly, he never knocks it down to get out. He is very obedient and just knows he's not supposed to do that. We did the puppy training classes at Petsmart and they were very helpful! All 4 of us took Travis every Saturday for those classes. It was nice for the girls to see how to train him as well. He's been housetrained for a couple of months now and he still likes to chew on things. It amazes me how once I tell him "no" to something such as chewing on the area rug, he immediately stops and goes to get his own chew toy. Then I never see him do that again. He truly is the perfect dog. He plays when you want to play, rests beside you when you want to sit down, doesn't bark much at all, and is very very sweet natured and cuddly. Our neighbors next door come over and play with him almost every day. My daughter, Morgan was actually jealous of Travis for a while because her best friend next door would come over and want to play with Travis more than her! Travis loves to go to their house as well. If I let him out the front door, he runs up to their door and wags his tail. He's loved by all the neighbors really! He loves to ride in the car so he sometimes goes with me to pick the girls up from school. I would love to get another wheaten terrier one day so he will have a friend to play with. Probably not for a year or two though. Our only regret is that we didn't pick up Travis earlier. He was such a wonderful surprise for Christmas but I feel like we missed out when he was so teeny tiny. Anyway, I just wanted to get back to you and let you know that Travis is doing great and that we are enjoying him more than we even imagined. I'll send you some pictures of Christmas time when the girls opened the box and out popped Travis. I'll also send you some current ones. He has grown so much so fast! I hope you found loving homes for those puppies. These Wheaten Terriers deserve the best! P.S. The last picture was right before we had the hair trimmed around his eyes. He looks so cute shaggy but it's nice to see his eyes now too. |
